It was a long awaited return to the Osceolas (11th and 12th on my first round), after an absence of nearly two years. This time, it was by a different route, up Greeley Ponds to Mt. Osceola! I always love being on new (to me) trails, and these didn't disappoint. Greeley Ponds was wet and muddy, though that's to be expected considering the wetness of late. Stream crossings weren't really an issue, and we were able to get across without dunking our boots/shoes. The Mt. Osceola trail from this end was pretty nice, though it could use some brushing below the steeps. It sure gains a lot of elevation quickly, but it was a good workout and we soon found ourselves on the summit. Great day to be out, though the views were a bit hazy.

The full story is HERE.

Cheers,

Bill
