Hiked the 5.2 mile loop up and around Pleasant Mt. on Saturday. Bald peak trail is in great shape with many fallen leaves now. The rain from earlier in the week made the going slippery at times but not bad. Water was running down trail in several spots. Sue's was was same though there are a couple old blow downs you need creep under or around. North Ridge has views to west opening up nicely; going was mostly dry and open to Fire Wardens Trail and Main summit. (Blazing on North Ridge has been cleaned up since earlier this year, going is more obvious on top now.)
Descent down ledges was clean. More leaves, pine spills and pretty wet in spots towards bottom. Nice quick day hike. 5.2m in just 3 hrs.
