Pretty cool idea for those looking to get into a recreational kayak...

Not a total dead-end boat. Looks like it could be rolled if need be. Very stable, with an intermediate sized cockpit opening. I like the recess in the deck for paddle-float rescue.

It only comes in one color I believe which is that cool green but as far as high visiblity on the water goes, it's kinda limited.

This kinda thing should be done more often.

Yup. The recycled Manitou 13 is actually just one of six in the category from Johnson Outdoors.

Walden also used a fair amount of recycled material when they were in business.
