This fabric seems to be having a surge in popularity lately, but my main question is regarding re-treatment. Has anyone on this site successfully sprayed or treated these fabrics to restore water repellency? If so what did you use? If it didn't work, what should be avoided?
I have a light weight tarp that I have had for decades???, and before I toss it, I thought that I would see what experiences are out there. It is not a coating as with urethane coated nylon, and I am guessing may be able to be spray treated. The urethane coated materials that I have tried to re-treat were not worth the trouble. Is this material different in its ease / success of re-treatment?
