Conditions were grand and the snow was perfect for a snowshoe up Welch and Dickey mountains in Waterville valley. A great hike, with a number of people on skis and snowshoes. 2 people were postholing with snowboards, but their tracks were covered up after a few crosses by people.
This was my first time on this loop, and I recommend it for a nice winter outing if you are looking for something that isn't difficult.
