We had planned to go with a GF/S group over Dix and Hough today but were not up to that much of a trek. Plan B was to grab a sure thing in Tabletop and we were not disappointed. The sun came out as we passed Marcy Dam and went up the blue trail but it didn't last long. There were a few views as we cleared the treeline, but the sky had turned black and the snow soon followed. We met a lot of nice folks on the trail and had a good day together.
Used MRS all the way on a well beaten hurd path. Had new summit jackets that tested out well.
