Trail Conditions: Interstate 19 is completely broken and packed and bare bootable. The ridge trail had 3-4" of new snow with drifts of 12" in places - Now it is completely packed by at least our group of 7 and there was another ME AMC group of 13 right behind us.
Special Equipment Required: Best bet is snowshoes with aggressive cleats. Could probably bareboot or use some microspikes.
Comments: A great day with some great blue skies, although the wind picked up and the temps dropped as we descended the Polecat trail at about 2PM. 6:15 RT.
