Pine Bend Brook Trail, Mt. Tripyramid trail and Sabbaday Trail
Bare trail until about the junction. At the steep climbs below the top of N. Tri., trail was very icy. We wore spikes so as not to ruin the sides of the trail. We also decided to come down Sabbaday instead of coming down the ice without crampons. The ridge had a slight monorail in places and some soft snow in places but not deep. The top of Sabbaday had a little snow and ice but as soon as you get down to the ledges they were bare and mostly bare the rest of the way. Down lower the trail is messed up by Irene and some of the water crossing were harder than pre hurricane. It was a great day to hike.
