The USFS is hosting a visit to the proposed Kilkenny Project Area on Monday, November 6, 9:30-2 rain or shine. This is a chance to see the area during the project development phase. More info can be found here.

I went on one of these tours once and it was amusing to watch the locals argue with FS staff
