Trail - White Ledges Loop
We completed the loop counterclockwise. The trails were in good condition with one confusing spot by near the intersection where the old trailhead trail comes in. Some wet areas. We saw yellow and purple violets and a huge area of blooming trailing arbutus (Mayflower) on the right after you begin the climb up the ledges.
Black flies were out and hovering, some were biting, or so says my ankle today.
The campground gate was open so we were able to park by the picnic area/outhouse.
A fellow who had parked beside our group came as we were de-booting and said he and his dog had spotted a few bear (mom and cubs) on the Carter Trail which leaves from the same campground. They were moving fast and didn't pay him and his small dog any attention.
