Whiteface(ADK) downhill conditions ???

Anyone been at the downhill ski center at Whiteface in the last couple days? I'm thinking of making a road trip(6+ hours) next weekend but the conditions listed on their website don't look like it'll be worth the drive.

Any big snow dumps in the forecast for the High Peaks ?

You can also check out http://www.skiadk.com (not named after me) for the "official" Whiteface message board. These guys will tell you how it really is up there.

Whiteface.com is saying 3-5 today, and there's a possibility of snow in the forecast for this week. I say go for it...stay on the sides of trails for the softest snow and be careful around high-traffic areas.
