The owners of Windblown XC Area have just sent an email out to patrons indicating that this is the last year they will be managing the area. As many of you may have read, they were very hard hit by the December ice storm and have only been able to open a fraction of their trails this year. They are also logging the area and cleaning up, as possible, during the week.

They also said they are looking for the area to continue as an XC destination. Their website http://www.windblownxc.com may have more details.

The owners are wonderful people and deserve our gratitude for all they have done for us and our best wishes for their future.

The Windblown website has printed the Jenks' letter about future plans for the area. The letter is on the "Conditions" page. There are two names of folks to contact if you are interested in being part of the foundation that is trying to keep the area open.
