wright slide

Hello fellow hikers! New member here. Could anyone tell me if the start of the Wright slide along Marcy brook is marked by cairns ? Also, is the herd path clearly defined from the brook to the summit? Any info is greatly appreciated. I have the McMartin book, but would like any additional info (degree of difficulty, where to exit onto the summit, etc.) Thanks.

Neil, thanks for your reply.Your trip on that route must have been very interesting. Your personal info along with McMartin's account, definately reinforces the need to find the correct brook crossing and also the ability to decipher which tributary to follow. It appears that perseverance is key in completing this hike. Thanks again for sharing! Wayward son By the way, I noticed you are from Montreal. If you are a Canadiens fan, GO HABS!!
