When I did it a few years ago, We kept near the west shore, Most of the time the wind is coming out of it, It was easy going both ways.You can easly get to the other end in one day, There are leantus at the other end.

I've been to Duckhole buy canoe three times, The portage between Henderson is long over a mile, If you take your time and you might have to make more then one trip for your stuff you can doit, The views are well worth it, We are going to make the trip again in the fall. Bob

There is a new leantu on the North west end, we canoed it on Memoral weekend on or way to Duckhole Bob
