It has a thermometer, barometer, altimeter- which if they're reliably accurate, are worth the extra $50-75 over the HRM I'd buy otherwise.

But since it's on something small enough to be on your wrist, I'm wondering about the above 3 item's accuracy.

Anyone own one of these who can tell me if it has served you well?
 
If the temp sensor in a wrist mounted display, it has no chance of giving you an accurate temp due to heat from your wrist and your insulation getting in the way. Can't speak for the barometer and altimeter, except that they are one and the same.

I have a simple heart-rate monitor than I only use for biking--all I want to know is my current heart rate while I am active. If I want to record an altitude track, I can bring my GPS.
