I'll use liner & a small G-tex overmitt I got a few years ago at KTP. These are smaller than the OR mitts & I looked for a couple of years to find them.
Neoprene/paddling gloves others mentioned I would think would work fine too.

Like Mike P. fleece or wool mitts and a Gore-Tex liner. I learned that on a Bonds traverse a few years back. Haven't left them behind when it gets below 50 since.
