    Bushnell backtrack

If a basic GPS emergency device can be labelled as 'cute', this is it:

Has some interesting possibilities for an inexpensive ocean navigation where topography is mostly moot, on daytrips, one could mark the launch and simply use the Backtrack to get back to it at the shortest path possible, without factoring current and winds of course. In fact, I saw it posted on a kayak forum.

You must go and you must ramble
    Through every briar and bramble
Till your life is in a shambles
    Maybe then you will know

Seems to me there was a prior thread on this or something similar.

Looks pretty useless to me. But it is available in a variety of color schemes...
