Trail conditions : The two of us followed a group of three so combined with those who hiked yesterday, the trail was well broken below the hut. The group in front of us went only as far as Lincoln Slide so we were on our own after that. There were many drifts along the ridge. Falling Waters Trail was in fine shape. All stream crossings were solidly bridged with no blowdowns.
Special equipment - we wore snowshoes from beginning to end
Comments - a spectacular day with undercast to the west but mostly bright sun and no wind along the ridge. The weather was better than the forecast.
