Question,I will be doing a five day solo loop trip 7/1 to 7/5 and was wondering about trail conditions along both Sno Bird and Bartlett Ridge Trails, also I was wondering about very small controlled campfires as I have made several sheet metal wood burning stoves and will possibly be trying out the latest Titanium model, thank you.

Campfires of any variety are not legal in the Eastern High Peaks Zone - which both the SnoBird and Bartlett Ridge locations lie in. Now - if the fire is in the stove - or you can defend it as such - then you can probably get away with it should a ranger question you. I don't know what the stoves look like - but if the fire is in the stove itself its a stove, not a campfire. Stoves are legal. How does it work?
