Wonderful day in the mountains. Temps in the 60s with a light breeze and no bugs. All five stream crossings on Cedar Brook as well as the one on the Hancock Loop Tr were uneventful and rock hopped easily. Climbed easily up the north link to N. Hancock with no snow and good footing. Ridge Link to S. Hancock has monorails still in place in areas with other areas wet. South link still had melting monorails and ice in place with loose gravel and sketchy in some areas even with poles. Yaktrax or stabilizers might have helped but still postholed. Only fell twice. Recommend using the south link for ascent until these melt.
