On this morning we awoke to 4” of fresh snow that had fallen overnight and decided it would be a good opportunity to check out Georgianna Falls; a small hike off the beaten path. The trail is located at the dead end of Hanson Farm Road across from the Longhorn Pancake House.
The trail is wide, well marked and had an unusual little cairn along the side of the path.
Broken branches littered the trail.
Further along was this perfectly split rock.
As we approached the falls there were unusual ice formations hanging off the rocks.
There are several cascades along the way.
Until you reach the upper frozen falls

You can continue further to Harvard Falls; however, the trail is poorly marked and we ourselves lost the trail.
This was a nice leisurely hike through some beautiful woods.
