Trail Conditions: Maybe 60% icy requiring light traction, 5% 3-4 inches of snow, 10% dry, the rest muddy. Stream crossings need just a little care to cross.
Special Equipment: Light traction essential. Didn't wear gaiters, but would if I were to do it again. Poles helpful on at least one stream crossing.
Comments: Since I had noticed that the Trail Conditions threads went missing for a while, I thought I'd better post one. My first time hiking with a group called Berkshire Knapsackers - nice folks. Pleasant walk without a lot of elevation gain.
