We drove up on the Fourth of July to hike Lincoln-Lafayette. They have implemented the parking ban on I-93 now (and two hours at the next lot). We arrived at 8:45am, and were the fourth car after the lot filled. Drove over to Cannon. It's not the tramway parking lot, but the main one, across the road in a huge lot I had never really looked at before. Nicely organized. Everyone was friendly and professional.
They run three shuttles. We hopped right on one at the parking lot, and waited all of five or eight minutes below Lincoln when we finished.
We were told they had 143 riders on the Fourth, and the driver estimated they might double that on Friday.
So give yourself a little extra time if you want to do Lincoln or the Kinsmen, but the shuttle is pretty efficient.
