Just got off the phone with Dreamfarmer, you guys never met? How cold did it get camping Thursday night?

I dont remember ever using the term "the least coast" anyway, I grew up in the east, after living out west I saw the attitudes are "gentler" out there people wise. But yeah, I guess with age Im trying to mellow out and be a more relaxed person by nature, life is short after all, why not be nicer if possible.

I finished my masters in a combined resident/on line program about a year ago. School really does consume any time you might once have had. I'm heading out to more schooling soon to keep getting me ready for my Certified Defense Financial Manager exam. Are you going for a finance degree?

I did a little hiking earlier in October, going up the Jewell, across the Westside Trail and over to summit Monroe and Eisenhower. Just enough snow to make the walking smooth and not so much to require snow shoes. Wind and fog changing to wind and sun on a beautiful Saturday.

I'm in sunny Pasadena California right now, and the local mountains are calling to me, but sadly, I can't go to them. Work demands my attention.

Do you go to the Dacks in the winter? My 46r plan is to hike in on Saturdays, camp, climb on Sunday, camp, hike out and drive home on Mondays. Don't have any idea how many time but 2x would be nice.
