Fat Tuesday

At this point...we're still going to attempt Jefferson. We're going up via Caps Ridge so at least it isn't a long hike. There's quite a few people going so it should make the conditions tolerable...as long as it isn't too windy. Sunday's still a few days away so I have my fingers crossed.

There are also a lot of small little lakes in Harriman, across the Hudson from 'Tony's Nose A friend and I are trying to swim in all of them during the warmer months just for fun, pond bagging!

Good to hear that you were not injured. I hope you understand my amusement, mixed with the concern. That a little creature like that is bringin such havoc among so many hikers...it tickles my funny bone. I am very glad you are alright, and I wish you much better weather for your next Isolation attempt.
