    I went to the EMS in Conway yesterday and bought Mountain Hardware Windstopper Tech jacket and another poly t-shirt for $153. It normally sells for $185. Everything in every store is 20% off through Sunday. There were dozens in the store shopping and purchasing.

    Hiked Falling Waters to OBTrail today. Snow was 2" in the shade as well as ice above 4000'. Not enough for crampons yet, but treacherous enough that several in our group took some spills.

    From my window, I saw a beautiful sunrise with only two orange clouds on the otherwise clear blue sky. I enjoy the look and feel of a little snow on the peaks.
