toenail Hi This happened to me 2 times and it was because of the cold.My 2 big toenails became black and very painful. Now I must be careful when it's cold.My toes are more sensitive to the cold.If it's very cold,I put hot packs inside my boots.

Last fall,I finished the 111s on Abraham.We drove on CVR and camped just before the iron bridge.The next morning,we reached the AT to climb Spaulding and Abraham and we came back by the same trail. Took ±12 hrs.Arbraham is a very nice mountain with lots of views. Bye Danny;)

Big Slide Trail Hi Me and 2 fellows hiked Big Slide via the Brothers yesterday(5-19). Don't worry for the snow,some patches left but nothing deep. The trail is good shape except for 3-4 downed trees. Great hike.Some bugs but nothing to be worried.

I think there is caretaker. By self serve I mean you put your money in an envelope and slip it in the fee tube. And for the fee,it stays the same all year (in winter the sites are plowed).

Hi For camping,I would go to Hancock Campground just east of the town of Lincoln. It is open year round and self serve.

Finally ,camped at Devil's tombstone 3 nights. Did Hunter friday climbing by Devil's Path and returned by Becker Hollow. Saturday, we climbed Slide from Oliverea road. Everything went fine. Thanks everyone for the infos.
