Date of hike 10-20-09
After camping near the iron bridge on Caribou Valley Road,we started the hike at 8:00 to reach our first goal,Spauding.The crossing of the river at the start was easy.
As we climbed,there was some snow on the trail but nothing to bother our climb.
After climbing to the summit of Spaulding,we took a rest at the lean-to for lunch.We reached the summit of Abraham at 3:00.The wind was not too bad.The views were very nice although the sky was a bit cloudy.
This was my last peak of the NE 67and 115 NE.4K.
Returned by the same trail and reached the car by 8:00 a bit tired after 12 hours of hiking.The drive back home was a long 4 hour drive.
