I plan to do two hikes, would welcome company (please PM or email me if interested, leave a phone # so I can reach you quickly for logistics):
1) 7/2 -- Crawford Notch hike, meet at 8:45am at Crawford Path parking lot and finalize details then.-- either Webster/Jackson/possibly Pierce, or Monroe/Franklin. (Or Willey if the weather sucks without prior warning.)
2) 7/4 -- Not sure yet: from Pinkham Notch either Nelson Crag + Alpine Garden, or Boott Spur loop, or from Crawford Notch Monroe/Franklin if not done on 7/2. Time/place to be determined based on anyone else's interest.

I hike at a moderate pace, slightly faster than book time except when interesting stuff encountered ("botany delays"), which I expect on these hikes.

========= more details ========

1a) Best weather option (requires car spot): Webster Cliff Trail from Rt 302 up Webster Cliff, over Webster, Jackson, to Mizpah Hut (+ Pierce if interest remains at that point). 9mi/3000' el gain to Mizpah, 10.4mi/3500' el gain to Pierce, early exit options from Webster or Jackson.
1b) Ammonoosuc Ravine Trail to Lakes Hut + hopefully Monroe and Franklin, back down Ammo. Approx 2900' el gain; approx. 7.2mi for Monroe, 8-ish mi for Monroe+Franklin.
1c) Webster/Jackson/Pierce via Webster-Jackson Trail. Cuts 1mi+600ft off option (1a), but then we miss those cliffs that I've been wanting to hike. :( No car spot.
1d) Willey + ? -- route to be determined.
If it's clear & dry + good forecast, I'd pick 1a; clear + ground wet + good forecast I'd pick 1b; rainy but clearing w/ improving forecast I'd pick 1c; weather questionable would be 1d.

Monday's weather looks better, most likely.
2a) up Old Jackson Rd -> Nelson Crag Tr to Nelson Crag -> Alpine Garden Tr -> down Lion's head Tr (Tuckerman's still closed?). Looks like approx. 9 mi + 3600' el gain
2b) Boott Spur loop (Boott Spur Tr/Glen Boulder Tr, direction suggestions welcome), approx. 8.4mi, 3500' el gain.
2c) see (1b).

Suggestions welcome on (2a),(2b); I've been on the Old Jackson Rd+Alpine Garden but not the other trails in Pinkham Notch. (and are AMC Pinkham's breakfasts worth getting up there early or staying overnight?)
