Thanks to all my fellow trail trampers for their encouragement and
good wishes to help me complete my goal.

A special thanks to Basil, Bill, Bob, Dave, John, Steve and Tom who accompanied me on many of my hikes. Special thanks to Tom for not letting me turn around “when we were in the neighborhood”!!! Without encouragement from all of you I would not have finished my winter 4 K’s this year. I appreciate their patience with me and have really enjoyed spending quality time with Steve, my son, who drove up from Massachusetts most every weekend to hike with me.

Thanks also to Hiker Ed, Big Earl and all the others who encouraged me week in and week out with their kind words.

It’s been a pleasure to meet such a nice group of people.

It’s been a great ride and if my knees hold up I’ll see you on the trail next winter.
