Planning to hike Moosilauke tomorrow. Never been in that area in the winter. Is Tunnel Brook Road plowed in the winter to the Benton Trailhead? How about the Ravine Lodge Road? I'm open to any suggestions by anyone who has been there recently.
Thanks,
Kath

Neither road is plowed. You need to park at the gate at the beginning of the Tunnel Brook road - and the first stream crossing on Benton can be difficult in winter if it's not iced over.

The Ravine Lodge road is gated as well, there's a parking area plowed out at the beginning. It adds 1.5 miles each way to the trip.

I'm sure the Ravine Rd isn't plowed and pretty sure the Tunnel Brook Rd isn't plowed. The Ravine Rd is frequently hiked in winter though. However, the most common route up Moosilauke in winter is the Glencliff Trail.
