Way to go!!!! Hats off to teamwork and tireless effort.
Much gratitude to those willing to help their fellow hikers.
Anyone have any details of the accident? Were they on trail or off on a slide path? If anyone has some more information it could lend some insight to everyone else.

An injury on the mountain is something that could happen to any of us. It's good to know that there are people out there like Scott and Chris who are willing to extend themselves after a day on the trail to help someone in need. Thank you for your selfless efforts in the assistance to the injured climber.

what I can add
We climbed Basin the Monday after this happened, and of course saw the area in which the accident happened (near the ladder on the west side of the mountain) and suffice to say that it was very steep and very icy. We ended chopping steps to get up that part and it took quite a while. And from folks we talked to about the incident - it was just exactly that - an accident that had a happy ending.
