Took a trip down to the northernmost parts of the Front Range yesterday. Visited Snow Lake and Thunder Pass, which is on the border with RMNP. The drive alone was worth the trip as CO-14 is an amazing road and climbs to over 10K feet before it reached the trailhead I used. Lots of fishermen use this trail because the lakes have lots of cutthroat trout. The water was so clear you could see them as you hike along the shore. Altitude ranged from about 10K at the TH to 11.5K at the lake.IMG_8907.JPGIMG_8936.JPGIMG_8943.JPGIMG_8965.JPGIMG_8967.JPGIMG_8977.JPGIMG_8978.JPGIMG_8979.JPGIMG_8980.JPGIMG_8984.JPG
