Hi all,
I just wanted to pass this info along to anyone who may be looking for some deals on gear. I was in The Mountain Goat in Manchester Center the other day, and they informed me that they're having a big tent sale in Bennington this weekend (Fri, Sat, and Sun) along with about three or four other stores. They'll be unloading a lot of their leftover spring and summer clothing and gear. The sale is located under the big tent in Merchants Bank Park near Nature's Closet in downtown Bennington. I don't normally post these kinds of things, but the staff at The Mountain Goat has been great to me as I've hiked Vermont over the past few years, so I just figured that I would pass the word along.
