Anyone know how to find Buttermilk Falls. I am going down to hike Peekamoose tomorrow and would like to include the falls if possible.
Thanks

Some photos of Buttermilk Falls. It has a fairly reliable flow year round, and should be attractive now. The next two streams east of the Buttermilk Falls Brook (on the north side of the road), each have waterfalls near the road. However, these tend to be just a trickle this time of the year. The furthest east of these is on private land as Rivet mentioned, just east of the state land boundary.

Another scenic spot you might want to see after the hike is the Peekamoose Blue Hole, (first entry below the map on that webpage). The water is far too cold to go swimming now, however, it is a very beautiful blue-green pool. There are a number of photo links on the above swimming holes website. From the Peekamoose Mountain trailhead walk east up the road just a few yards. There is a well trod unmarked path from the road (right side) to the swimming hole.
