Trail has standard leaf drop and is minimally wet at bottom, but gets wetter higher up. Boots may get damp but careful footing will keep them from getting soaked. Great views for overcast day and summit was very, very crowded. First Vermont 4K for us and we really enjoyed a great hike with a variety of great forests.
