Tramway parking area to summit.
Thin snow on lower trail, with some ice. Started w/microspikes. Above 2300 ft, ice becomes thick and constant. Switched to Hill sound TCPs. Carried snowshoes but never needed them. The crampons were necessary. Saw one person w/o crampons, and was having a tough time.
Saw lots of people today. Started at the same time as Bob and Marcie, caught up with Julie at east peak, we all summitted together. I returned via KRT, they decided to descend via Lonesome Lake Trail.
Views were pretty decent, but it started to cloud up a bit. Very little wind, except between east peak and the summit, and on the obs tower.
Great day for a hike.
