Started up a well packed Nineteen Mile Brook Trail in boots to Carter Dome Trail. Walked a few paces up Carter Dome Trail but post-holed each step. Snowshoes went on until back at NMB and Carter Dome Trail jct. Mt Hite gave us sun for 15 minutes under bluebird skies, then clouds rolled in.
Summit of Carter Dome calm and cool with good views all around. Beer and lunch for about an hour.
