Bare ground showing up on 19 mile brook before junction with Carter Dome trail and on lower part of 19 mile brook. Other than that it was all hard packed snow. Monorail help up well. Wore microspikes all day (Note: Sarah switched to crampons coming off of Mt. Hight. I was actually demoing a new product made by Hillsound. Much like microspikes but with slightly longer and thicker spikes.
Great day with views into Maine and Vermont enhanced by the new snow fall at higher elevations.
