Date of Hike: 12/June/2010
Trail Conditions: Trails, what trails. Followed the recommended route parked at ~2400 Ft elevation and followed jeep trail to boundary markers. Hundreds of downed trees all over the ridge and I quickly lost any trace of a faint herd path. Headed up, up then more up and popped onto the clearing directly below the canister.
Special Equipment Required: Long pants and safety glasses.
Comments: startled a cow moose and calf taking a nap within 30 Ft of the summit. Great day for a whack. #87/100
