Trails- Cold Spring Trail to Faraway Mtn Trail to High Ridge to Mt Roberts Trail
Trail Conditions- Dry trails with a bit of mud in some sections. Some snow from about 2200 feet up. Just a few icy spots. All trails except for Mt Roberts trail are old carriage roads. No blowdowns.
No need for traction.
We added a quick bushwhack up to the summit of Faraway. About 8.5 miles total in 4.5 hours. Only saw 5 other hikers. A beautiful view of the snow covered Mt Washington from the viewpoint on Roberts.
