surface Conditions: Snow, fresh 1-2", powder over packed powder and crust, no significant ice.
Water: easy crossings
Recreational Equipment: Snowshoes, micro spikes
Comments: Light snow at trail head, depth increases, deep winter scene above 3000', beautiful trees covered with new snow which creates a local snow storm as you pass by. Beautiful Blue Bird sky at summit with clear views to 4 VT 4k's, and all Sightable NH 4k's. Greeted by Canadian Jay.
