Road walk and trail had a consistent firm, packed surface with some minor ice and blown in snow in places. Stream crossings were all well bridged. We took care of three major blowdowns (one almost took care of us!) and there were no troublesome ones remaining.
We happily wore Hillsound ST's car-to-beer, er, car.
Cold, windy day with many clouds but long views and the stunning upper forest that always enchants. Fun day with friends.
