I have Grace Camp reserved for Monday January 21 thru Thursday January 24 2008. Grace Camp is a heated cabin near Johns Brook Lodge that sleeps 6. I have 3 openings due to cancellations. The cost is $25 per night per person, $75 total for the 3 nights. The plan is to hike in on Monday, enjoy the mountains on Tuesday and Wednesday and hike out on Thursday.
At least 3 will be making an attempt at Haystack and Basin on Tuesday or Wednesday. Full winter gear is required (snowshoes, crampons, etc). An ice axe is recommended. Everyone is welcome, but please, only experienced winter hikers with proper equipment for the Haystack / Basin hike.
I will provide details of food, group gear and meeting place to those interested.
