Wore microspikes from the car although there were a few bare spots in the first 1/2 mile. Brook crossings no issue but boots should be waterproof if you want to keep your feet dry. We ascended south. Coming down south would have required crampons or at least some very deliberate tree to tree maneuvering as the snow was quite hard. Snow coming down North was soft enough for microspikes to be sufficent.
