Congrats on the successful trip up Humphreys! I know how you guys felt, it took a good 3 weeks after moving out here to feel totally comfortable with the altitude. And then climbing Humphreys was the equivalent of doing Washington in terms of effort.

Thanks, Max! We might spend even more time acclimatizing next year before we attempt more highpoints. I don't like stressing about headaches, etc. Would rather take it sloooowwwly and worry less.

You live in Arizona now? What a gorgeous place! We enjoyed our visit tremendously. I got a bit too fond of Alpine Pizza in Flagstaff, though. :)

We moved to Prescott in June 2010 after I retired, so now I spend way too much time at Grand Canyon. I have not tried that pizza place in Flagstaff, but I do know that Prescott has not found the secret to making a good pizza. Then again, the search continues! :D
