Unknown Pond to Bunnell Notch loop. UNP was previously broken for a good bit of the way. Lost broken trail at a stream crossing, made our way up the stream, then picked up the actual trail again but didn't see evidence of old snowshoe prints at that point. Sparely blazed in this region.
Snow good and fairly easy going through the ascent of Cabot. A little deep back there. Had been crust but fairly consolidated underneath previously. Group of four breaking (MEB,Drew, SueBiscuit) Had to watch for the trail closely in a few places but fairly easy to follow otherwise. A blowdown or two, but really not many.
Snow all day but not heavily. No views on Horn
Used snowshoes all day, but could have gone bareboot or spike going back down bunnell, which has seen a lot of traffic.
