Interest in Delaware Bay Crossing?

Jim and I have been thinking about a paddle across Delaware bay going from Lewes DE to Cape May NJ. We would need to do a bit more research on moons, tides etc. We do not have a date set. Of course, such an undertaking could be cancelled on "game day" due to weather. Is anyone interested in participating?

I'd be interested. It could be a good use of my new Marina VHF radio I got long ago.. pan pan pan...

Heck, I bet Jim could get us a coast guard escort, right? Or at least ferry us back From Lewes.... I think most groups do it from Cape May to Lewes and the ferry ride back.
