Hey there,
I have a couple of 10 ft. walden paddlers kayaks. I did some work for the owner of this company and got a great deal on them. I belive this company is now out of bussiness. ( maybe bought out by walden kayaks ) I don't know, but it's a similar design with the same materials.
I've had them for 12+ years, and they owe me nothing.
Anyways, recently I discovered a crack on the bottom of one of them.
It's about 8-10" long and is visible from the inside. It looks pretty deep.
It does'nt leak yet but, I don't want to wait until it does.

Any idea's on how to patch this up?
Like I said, these things owe me nothing, I'd just like to get a little more life out of them.

Thanks, Steve-o

If you tell me what they are made of I can tell you how to fix them. :)

Thanks for the links.
Wow,those patch kits are pretty pricy.
cantdog, I think that's the ticket. A little plastic welding.
That post was a few years back but, if this guy works out I'm buying you a 6-pack too! He also happens to live in the next town over from me. How convenient. :)

Nope! As much as Cantdog has tried to convince me that whitewater is the way to go,I'm a sea kayak kinda guy!

As to the interesting character.... ;)
