An early dad's day redline hike...enjoyed this trail though wet and muddy and overgrown in places, but also some nice areas through softwood forest and nice views of the Weeks and Cabot's talus fields at the meadow at the end of the hike...enough reassuring yellow blazes to let you know you are still on trail..would say that soon one would need to wear long pants and sleeves to keep from getting scratched from berry bushes in some spots...mud was unavoidable in some places, so expect to get wet and muddy...today waterproof boots and gaiters were defeated by mother nature! thanks to Priscilla and Michelle for "making" me go!!
